Masterclass Choreography: Ghosts of Hell Creek

Join Prehistoric Body Theater co-directors Dr. Ari D. Rudenko (USA) and Sofyan Joyo Utomo (Malang) for a two-day workshop exploring the movement of prehistoric creatures. Participants will use the body as a medium of expression through PBT's signature approach — blending paleontology, observation of living creatures, and Indonesian traditional dance — to bring long-extinct beings back to life through the body.

When: September 25–26, 2026
Where: Balai Desa Ngijo, Karangploso, Malang
Open to: Students and general public (Grade 5 and up, max age 30)

Apply to join: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScsuP6r87J8TbzsDYA3vPiuYL7rJ6T6o3NdKh_Lch2LWUCZzQ/viewform

Participants receive a certificate, the chance to join the choreography process for ArtJog 2027, and direct mentorship from working choreographers.

Presented by Mandala Kadewaguruan, in partnership with Pemerintah Desa Ngijo Kabupaten Malang and KIM Tlogosari.
